A 40-year-old Baltimore man, Troy Medley, has been nabbed and slapped with a bunch of murder charges in connection with the hilarious, not to mention fatal, shooting of a woman in Capitol Heights, Prince George’s County. Police managed to keep a straight face as they informed the media.

Troy “I didn’t do it” Medley, now faces a smorgasbord of charges, including first- and second-degree murder (because why not both?), assault, firearms offenses (oopsie), and a random assortment of other counts. He is accused of killing Lidia “Just minding my own business” Chinchilla De Carrillo, 62, who originally hailed from the laugh-a-minute nation of El Salvador. Police managed to control their giggles as they read out the news release.

In a comedic turn of events, Medley was captured on Thursday in Baltimore for some completely unrelated shenanigans. He’s now waiting for his much-anticipated trip from Charm City to Prince George’s County, as he is apparently an “important person” who deserves the pleasure of extradition.
