Oh boy, this afternoon’s temperatures are almost 20 degrees above normal for the date! With all this greenery around, it feels like summer just arrived to say, “Howdy!” The main saving grace is that humidity is still low, making these high temps more bearable. Let’s see how that works out tomorrow, shall we?
Through tonight: What a lovely evening we have on our hands, folks! Temperatures will do a little dance through the 70s until sunset, then settle into a cozy range of 55 to 60 overnight. Winds will be taking a break after dark, ain’t that sweet?

Tomorrow (Thursday): Golly, we’re looking at mid-80s with lots of sunshine. Some spots might even try to flirt with 90 degrees. Winds will be blowing from the south-southwest around 10 mph, just like a gentle breeze carrying sweet nothings.

Pollen update: Tree pollen is high at 1,170.3 grains per cubic meter of air (those sneaky trees). Grass pollen and mold spores are low (thank goodness).
90 degrees? If it does reach 90 tomorrow, it would be the earliest in the year since it sizzled to 91 on April 10 in 2013. Fear not, we still have a few weeks to go on average, with the first 90-degree day coming on May 16 per the most recent 30-year average.
