Well folks, grab your popcorn because we’ve got another wild news story for you! This time it involves a young man who got a rude awakening when he went to pick up his little brothers. Instead of welcoming arms, he got a bullet to the forehead and arm! Ouch! He’s now recovering from a traumatic brain injury. Can someone pass this guy some aspirin?
And the culprit behind this violent act? Cue the old man who lives next door! Yup, you heard that right. The 84-year-old white man shot him through a glass front door. Scared of his own shadow or just trigger happy? You be the judge. The prosecutor didn’t have any mercy either; he slapped the man with a first-degree assault charge. On the bright side, at least he hit his target…?
Now let’s cut to a bunch of teenagers who should have been thinking, “wrong address, who dis?” but instead got a face full of bullets. A group of pals from upstate New York ended up driving to the wrong address. Oops! Unfortunately, when they tried to hightail their way out of there, the homeowner laid down the law…with a gun. One of the girls, God rest her soul, got hit by a bullet and didn’t make it. Lesson learned, always double-check your GPS!
To top it off, we’ve got a Texas-sized blunder that left two cheerleaders with some unwanted bullet holes. Apparently, one of them mistook a car for her ride and jumped in. They say you should always look before you leap, and boy were they right because what followed was a gunshot to the back and a leg. Thankfully, they were helicoptered out of there, but couldn’t catch a break as one of them was initially reported to be in critical condition. Maybe next time they’ll ask for ID before hopping into a stranger’s car?
Can we talk about how we’re sending people to the morgue for mistakes that could happen to anyone? In other countries, when there’s a brawl, you go to the Emergency Room. But here in the good old US of A, we send our people straight to their graves. Is it too late for a take-back on that Second Amendment thing? Asking for a friend.
