Draymond’s Dramatic Ejection Leaves Warriors Crying for their Mommies in Game 2 Loss to Kings

Published on

Draymond Green, the infamous basketball player who has had more drama than a Shakespearean play, has done it again. This time, he stomped on the chest of Domantas Sabonis during a game against the Sacramento Kings. Sabonis had his arms wrapped around Green’s ankle, which apparently made Green think he was starring in a remake of “Step Up.” To make matters worse, Green later tried to justify his actions by saying he was just doing some “ankle-grabbing,” as if that was a legitimate defense. The league has yet to decide if Green will be fined or suspended, but let’s be honest – it’s Draymond Green, so there’s a good chance he’ll get away with it.

But let’s not forget, this isn’t the first time Green has caused a stir. In fact, he has a pretty impressive resume of controversy. Remember when he kicked Steven Adams in the groin during the 2016 playoffs? Or when he got suspended during the 2016 Finals? Or when he had a confrontation with Kevin Durant in 2018? Or when he punched teammate Jordan Poole at practice? This guy has more drama than the Real Housewives franchise.

It’s clear that Green needs to work on his anger management, but it’s also clear that the Warriors need him on the court. With the team down 0-2 in the playoff series against the Kings, Green’s ejection only made matters worse. The Warriors could have used his defensive skills and his ability to break up the Kings’ rhythm. Instead, they were left to pick up the pieces without their star player.

But if there’s one thing we know about Green, it’s that he’s resilient. He’s faced adversity before – both on and off the court – and he’s always bounced back. He’s already projecting confidence about the “new challenge” of being in an 0-2 hole, and he’s ready to conquer it. Of course, he’s conquered a lot of challenges in the past, but this time might be his toughest yet.

Regardless of what happens, one thing is for sure: Green will always be a lightning rod for controversy. Love him or hate him, he’s one of the most interesting players in the league. And if the Warriors do get eliminated, he might just have to add “Soul-Searching” to his already lengthy list of accomplishments.
